The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across the South West of England, valid from 6pm Friday until midday Saturday. Heavy downpours could bring localised flooding, difficult driving conditions, and disruption to transport, particularly on Friday evening and Saturday morning.

The warning covers Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Bristol and parts of Wiltshire. Rain will become persistent and heavy from Friday evening, with 20–30mm widely and up to 50mm over high ground.
